CAKE CARE AND TRANSPORTATION
All cakes are packaged in a cake box and are placed on an iced cake board usually 3" larger than the diameter of the cake
During transportation, please keep cake as cool as possible and on a flat surface (boot or the floor of the car works well, we use non-slip matting to prevent movement)
Keep cool at room temperature and in air conditioned conditions during warmer weather. Keep out of direct sunglight and away from moisture
Cakes styled with fresh flowers are best eaten within 24 hours of pick up, as the flowers have the tendency to wilt after this time
Ganache filling tends to stick to the knife when cutting your cake, making it difficult to get nice clean slices. To achieve clean cuts (and maximum number of serves), use a sharp (not serrated) knife, dipped in hot water and wiped dry before each cut!
